These portraits are of those who were victims of gun violence. Each lived in a small town in America. Each was innocent of any wrong doing. Some were students. Some ran businesses. All had families.

I conceived the digital renderings from various social media sources including: photos of gatherings of family and friends, from selfies, and from school pictures. I invite reflection on the person that looked out at the camera at that one precious moment.
